Peter established GMB Executive Search & Selection Ltd in 1979 and since then has managed and provided executive search and selection services, primarily to subsidiaries of overseas multinational companies. These assignments included President/Vice President/CEO, and heads of functions in the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical, medical devices, information/communication/technology, clean technology, food/beverage and service sectors.
Prior to establishing GMB he held General, Human Resources and Materials management positions in the pharmaceutical, medical devices, chemical, consumer products and food/consumer products industries with multinational and indigenous companies.
David GarveyDirector - Executive Search
David has over 17 years’ experience as a researcher, consultant and senior consultant carrying out searches for heads of functions in Operations, Quality, IT, Marketing, HR, EHS and Supply Chain in the pharmaceutical, medical devices, Information/communication/technology, food/beverage and services sectors.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from London Guildhall University and has completed further training in Recruitment/Human Resources.

Paddy has over 25 years years in Senior Human Resources positions in a number of industries including heavy Industry, Hi-tech, Medical Devices, as well as Software Reselling and Construction. Paddy has led Human Resources and Development Teams for Global and Large Irish International Companies across Europe and Asia Pacific, and has been responsible for C Suite and Senior recruitment for a number of top US and Irish Companies.
Paddy is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and a Member of the Institute of Directors and the BPS. He has an MA in Human Resource Management and a BA (Hons) degree in Management, as well as two Post Graduate Diplomas in Executive Coaching. He is a qualified Practitioner of MBTI and other psychometric tools.
Peter O'LearySenior Consultant
Peter has worked for 14 years’ in executive search, on assignments including Heads of Operations, Quality Directors, Medical Directors, Engineering, Manufacturing and Sales Managers.
Prior to this, working in Plant and General Manager roles, he set up and ran manufacturing operations for several multi-national companies in Ireland.
He graduated from University College, Cork with an Honours Degree in Electrical Engineering. He has also lectured in Manufacturing Engineering at Tallaght Institute of Technology.
Joyce Rigby-JonesSenior Consultant
Joyce is a graduate of Trinity College, Dublin, holding an honours degree in Psychology, and is a Fellow of CIPD.
Joyce has worked for many years in senior Human Resources positions in a number of significant multinational operations. Her experience has spanned many different industries and company sizes, and her scope has covered the generalist HR function, recruitment, retention, and training/development.
Joyce started up her own HR Consultancy in December 2006 and has worked with both private and public organizations, with considerable experience in all areas of Human Resources. She has extensive experience of Irish employment law and provides support to employers on employment and labour law issues. Updating and development of Employment contracts, policies and procedures, and Employee Handbooks are a regular part of her client support.
