Due to the growth of their business, introduction of new products, the need for increased capacity for existing products and the availability of talent, they announced the establishment of a green field manufacturing operation in the Mid-West of Ireland to service international markets. With an initial investment of $150 million employment will grow to 600 people.

We have been retained to recruit a Senior Director, Quality (Facility Quality Lead) who will be responsible for the establishment and management of Quality Systems and the Quality function in the Ireland facility.
He/she will be the site leader of the Quality function and team and will report to a VP of Quality in the USA.
A range of existing medical devices will be manufactured here including catheter based products to repair and replace heart valves and also new products will be produced.

Education and Experience
A Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering/Science discipline is essential. A Postgraduate degree (Masters/Doctorate) and a professional certification in Quality Management is preferred.
Candidates are required to have:
- Substantial broadly based experience within the medical device industry, or a combination of medical device, pharmaceutical and other regulated environment experience.
- Significant experience in a Senior Quality Management/Director level position.
